Robert Pembleton Obituary
AGE: 88 • Oakhurst
Robert F. Pembleton, 88, of Oakhurst, passed away Monday, Jan. 4, 2016 at home. Robert worked for Ocean Township Board of Education as a Supervisor. He was a member of Oakhurst Methodist Church, and a founder of Pop Warner Football in Ocean Township.
He was predeceased by his parents Harry and Clara Pembleton, and brother Harry Pembleton. Surviving are his loving wife Jean Pembleton of Oakhurst; sons Robert Pembleton and wife Sandy of SC., Michael Pembleton and wife Laura of Oakhurst; brother Leroy Pembleton and wife Marylyn of Lakehurst; six grandchildren Lauren, Michael, Scott, Michaela, Brett, and Heather; and three great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Sunday, Jan. 10, 2016 from 2 to 4pm at Francioni, Taylor & Lopez Funeral Home, 1200 10th Ave, Neptune. A 10am service will be held Mon. Jan. 11, 2016 at the funeral home. Internment to follow at Monmouth Memorial Park, Tinton Falls. In lieu of flowers please make donations in his name to: Spartan Football Club, PO Box 1094, Oakhurst, NJ 07755.

He may have worked in our schools, but he educated us in teamwork, responsibility, and hard work on the football field. Like their sons, Mike & Doris Vignola thought the world of him.
