Robert Stepnowski Obituary
AGE: 73 • Point Pleasant Beach
Robert "Bob" Stepnowski, 73, of Point Pleasant Beach passed away suddenly at his home on Monday, Feb. 20, 2012. Robert was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA and moved to Point Pleasant Beach in 1984. Robert was a retired Safety Manager for Rohm & Haas, Philadelphia, PA. He was an avid outdoorsman who thoroughly enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved spending time up the mountains in PA, at his cottage on Morman Lake. Robert enjoyed watching John Wayne, Old Western movies and Philadelphia sports.
Robert was predeceased by his wife, Lorraine in 2000; a son, Scott in 2011; a grandson, Zachary in 1996 and a nephew, Christian in 2006. He is survived by two daughters and two sons-in-law, Susan and Bruce T Gmahle of Point Pleasant Boro and Dana and Mark Eskow of Lakewood, CO; a sister, Christine Kidd and her husband Perry of Philadelphia; three nephews, Josh, Jason and Ryan Kidd; six grandchildren, Justin Springsteen, Olivia, Julia and Alyson Gmahle, Jackson and Lanie Eskow; and his nephew with whom he lived with, John "Jungle" Boegly.
Relatives and friends are invited to call Tuesday, February 28 from 2-4 pm at Orender Family Home for Funerals, 2643 Old Bridge Road, Manasquan. A Funeral service will be here at the funeral home on Tuesday at 3:30 pm. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Ocean of Love, 1709 Rt 37 East, Toms River, NJ 08753.
