ROBERT SCOTT "STEPO" STEPNOWSKI
AGE: 46 POINT PLEASANT BEACH
Robert Scott "Stepo" Stepnowski, 46, of Point Pleasant Beach passed away Sunday, Jan. 9, 2011 at home with his family by his side. Scotty was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA and moved to Point Pleasant Beach after high school. He was a commercial fisherman and a member of Local 400 Electrical Union, Wall, NJ. Scott was an avid sport fisherman and hunter.
Scotty was predeceased by his mother, Lorraine and nephew, Zachary. He is survived by his father, Robert Stepnowski, of Point Pleasant Beach; a son, Justin Springsteen of Point Pleasant Boro; two sisters, Susan Gmahle and her husband, Bruce of Point Pleasant Boro and Dana Stepnowski Eskow and her husband, Mark of Point Pleasant Beach. Scotty is also survived by an Aunt and Uncle, Perry and Christine Kidd of Philadelphia and a cousin, John "Jungle" Boegly of Point Pleasant Beach; three nieces and a nephew and many other relatives.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday, January 18, from 2-4 pm at Orender Family Home for Funerals, 2643 Old Bridge Road, Manasquan. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, January 18 at 3:30 pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Sport Fishing Fund c/o Dave Arbeitman 1126 Gowdy Ave #3, Point Pleasant, NJ 08742.
