ROBERTA C. BRUSIC
AGE: 70 PINE BEACH
Roberta C. Brusic, 70, of Pine Beach died Christmas day at home, surrounded by her loving family and friends. Born in Teaneck, she has been a resident of Pine beach for the past 35 years. Mrs. Brusic was a registered nurse employed with the Ocean County Health Department of Toms River for many years before retiring. She was a active communicant of St. Barnabas Church in Bayville where she was a member of the Altar Rosary Society and a Comfort Minister for the churchs' funeral liturgy program. Roberta was predeceased by her husband Michael in February 2008. Surviving are her two daughters, Barbara Kuprel and Lisa Call and her husband James; two step-sons, Rev. Robert Brusic and his wife Lucy, and Ken Brusic and his wife Pam; her mother Ruth Baer and two step-grandchildren, Adam and Michael. A Memorial Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday at 11 am in the St. Barnabas Church Chapel, 33 Woodland Road, Bayville. In lieu of flowers, donations in Roberta's name to: Covenant House, Times Square Station, P.O.Box 731, New York, N.Y. 10108-0900, would be appreciated. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Mastapeter Funeral Home, Bayville.
