Ruth E. Mandzik, 86, of Tinton Falls, NJ, formerly of Silver Ridge Park West, Berkeley Twp., NJ, passed away Sunday, April 17, 2016 at Jersey Shore Medical Center, Neptune, NJ.

Born in Irvington, NJ, she lived in Newark, NJ then Berkeley Twp, NJ for 16 years before moving to Tinton Falls 3 years ago.

Ruth was a bookkeeper for various companies in Newark, NJ and Irvington, NJ for many years.

She was a member of the United Church of Christ, Union, NJ and served as Bookkeeper for the Silver Ridge Park Homeowner Association and Treasurer of the Silver Ridge Park West Bowling League.

Ruth also was a member of the Business & Professional Women in Short Hills, NJ.

She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Mandzik, in 2002.

Ruth is survived by her three daughters and their spouses Joann Ruth & Anthony Lambiase of Oxford, NJ, Joyce Ellen & Jeffrey Oset of Union, NJ and Judy Lynn & Peter von Kleeck of Powhatan, VA, a sister Lyn Moeltner, two step brothers Joseph & Valentine Roder, and 2 grandchildren Matthew Oset & his wife Heather and Steven Oset.

The family will receive friends Wednesday 3-7pm at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 145 St. Catherine Blvd., Toms River. A funeral service will be offered Thursday 11:00am at the funeral home. Burial to follow at the New Jersey Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown, NJ.
