AGE: 65 •

Atlantic Highlands

Sharon Pyle, 65 of Atlantic Highlands, passed away peacefully on May 16, 2017, with her loving family by her side. She was born in Long Branch to Richard and Annette Smithson. She earned her nursing degree from Brookdale Community College and was a Registered Nurse at Riverview Medical Center before her retirement.

She is predeceased by her father Richard Smithson. She is survived by her mother Annette Winters Smithson of Little Silver; her son Ryan Pyle and his wife Michelle of Leonardo; her sister Susan Karl and her husband Michael of Little Silver; her brother Dick Smithson and his wife JoAnn of Tabernacle and her three grandchildren Annika, Aylin and Kaley.

Visitation will be Thursday, May 18th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Thompson Memorial Home, 310 Broad St, Red Bank. A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 19th at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Fair View Cemetery in Middletown.

My deepest sympathy. Sharon and I practically grew up together. High school then on to Nursing school. Worked together for a while at Riverview Medical Center. Lost touch over the years. I thought of her often and I will miss her. Again so sorry for your loss.
