AGE: 82 • Neptune
Shirley Elizabeth Tate a lifelong resident of Neptune passed away on March 4, 2016 with family by her side. A devoted wife, mother & grandmother, she lived a full life, always putting family first. We will carry her memory in our hearts forever. Shirley was predeceased by her husband, Grant T. Tate, Jr. and son, Grant T. Tate, III. She is survived by daughters, Vici Tate & husband Steven Tryon of Hawaii & Tammy & husband George Reid, Jr., Toms River & beloved grandsons Kyle & Hunter Reid. A graveside service will be held 11:00 AM Thurs. March 10th. at Monmouth Memorial Park, Tinton Falls. In lieu of flowers please consider donations to Hamilton Fire Co., Neptune.

AUNT SHIRLEY, WAS A AUNT ,THAT EVERYONE WOULD LOVE . NOT JUST SHE WAS ME AUNT, IT WAS BECAUSE SHE HAD A HEART OF GOLD AND EVERYONE THAR MET HER LOVED HER LIKE SHE WAS THERE FAMILY MEMBER . Vici ,Tammy, and Family ,,So sorry for the lost of your mom. She was my favorite Aunt . Along with your dad Uncle Jake. I remember going to the house to see them, it was always on a Sunday. We would all go out side to play .Memories are the best you can have when our loved ones are no longer with us.

I am so sorry for your loss. I will always remember all of the stories shared at all of the friends tables. Times change and people move on but the memories remain. May Shirley rest in eternal peace.

R.I.p aunt Shirley. .I remember sitting at the table at aunt Kathy's and uncle Jake's house with you when I was a young one...my mom would always tell me to go play with the kids...but sitting at the table with all the adults laughing at each others story's was so much better
