Stephen Daniels Obituary
AGE: 59 • Morganville
Stephen Barry Daniels, 59, of Morganville, passed away Monday April 16, 2012 at home. He was born in Van Nuys, California and raised in Orange County California. Stephen has spent the past 22 years in New Jersey. He was employed at Van Wickle Auto in Spring Lake for the past 15 years. He was an avid scuba diver and enjoyed fishing, camping and anything to do with the outdoors. He was well loved by all who knew him and had a smile that could light up a room. He was a beloved husband, uncle, son and friend who will surely be missed by all.
He was predeceased by his father Arlen Daniels and brother Clyde. He leaves behind his wife of 28 years Jacqueline, his mother Jean Ryan, a brother and sister-in-law Mark and Jolanda Daniels, a sister Darla LaChapelle, nieces and nephews Dylan Daniels, Elton And Stephen LaChapelle, of California, as well as Jacob Bader, and his wife Julie, Lauren Clark and her husband Christopher, and Diane Bader, sisters-in-law Joy Brautigam and her husband Douglas, Jennifer Salerno and Jill Bader, of New Jersey.
Services for Stephen are private and being conducted by the Waitt Funeral Home, 501 highway 79 Morganville, NJ. Donations can be made in his name to the National Pancreatic Cancer Foundations, NPCF, 3962 S. Delaware Street, Englewood, Colorado 80110. It just came to me....In the early 1970's, probably about 1972, Steve and I tore a dollar bill in half and each of us took a half to remind each other that we were friends forever. I still have my half....Bro's forever!!!

Losing someone you love is the worst part of life, and I know that it is so difficult to count your blessings when your heart hurts so badly.
But I do feel blessed for having been a part of this man's life even for a few short moments in time.
Steve was a rare man. He loved his family dearly, and when he hugged you, you continued to feel the lingering warmth of that hug long after it was past. I think because he did it with his whole heart.
I choose to believe that he is now in the arms of angels. After all where else would a man like Steve be now.

Uncle Steve was a genuine nice guy who always smiled. We enjoyed talking cars and about fishing. I will always remember him Aunt Jackie and Rosie coming to Eisele Ave to spend time with my mom and sister Diane.

It's so, so difficult to say good bye Steve, I can't do it. I don't want to do it.
I can recall the innumerable times that we, fellow 'outlaws', spent together in each other's company while attending or hosting family get togethers. We didn't talk all that much. We didn't have to… our spouses and their sisters did for us.
I will not say good bye Steve but I will shout out a big ‘Thanks a million' for being there for me and all of us as for long as you were able.
You will always be missed.
