Stephen Smith Obituary
Wall Township - Stephen Kenneth Smith, 65 of Wall Township passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Monday July 30, 2018 at Care-One Rehabilitation Center of Wall, NJ. He was born in Neptune, NJ, raised and lifelong resident of Ocean Grove and Wall Township. Stephen was a graduate of Neptune Senior High School, attended North Georgia College and was active in the Wall Pop Warner Football Program for many years. He worked for the Asbury Park Press as a truck driver for 20 years and then the Garden State Parkway as a toll collector.
He was predeceased by his parents Kenneth and Enid (Dodd) Smith.
He is survived by his son Cody and his wife Caitlin Smith of Howell, NJ and a grandson Caden and soon to be granddaughter McKenna. And another son Brian Smith of Wall, NJ. He also leaves a sister Sheree Swannack of Neptune and her family; two brothers Joshua Z. of Chattanooga, TN and his family & Kenneth J. (Bunky) of Edison, NJ and his family.
Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial visitation on Friday August 3, 2018 from 2-6pm at the Johnson- McGinley Funeral Home 2652 Hwy 138, Wall, NJ. (Memorial Service will be held at 5:30 at the funeral home. In lieu flowers donation may be made in his honor to the American Cancer Society.
Johnson- McGinley Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

I met Stephen back in the early 1970's. He was an amazing person. I loved his personality. Had always been on the wild side. He will be missed by those that knew him. RIP
