Sue Wester Obituary
AGE: 73 • Millburn
Sue Wester, of Millburn, passed away Friday, November 25, 2016, at Care One at Livingston Assisted Living Facility. She was 73. Born in Bristol, Tennessee, she resided in Millburn for most of the past 30+ years.
A teacher with a Masters degree from Bank Street College of Education in New York City, Sue taught in Metuchen from 1982 to 2004. She began teaching Kindergarten, while in her final 2 years, she taught 2nd graders.
Animals and the environment were lifelong passions of Sue's. She once made a huge whale and took it into the classroom to inspire her children and teach them about the importance of caring for these majestic creatures.
The Church was also an important part of Sue's life - both in New Providence and later, at the Wyoming Presbyterian Church.
Sue is survived by her husband Paul, step-daughter Laura, and two grandchildren, Andrew and David.

I am so sad to hear of Sue's passing. She was a wonderful,caring colleague.Of course,she was a great teacher and influenced many young lives.

Sue was a wonderful and caring person. She was my kindergarten teacher 20 years ago and I still think of her fondly to this day. My condolences to her family. My thoughts are with you.
