Teresa Evernham Obituary
Middletown - Teresa Evernham, 74, of Middletown, NJ, passed away on January 2, 2018 at Riverview Medical Center in Red Bank. She was born in Long Branch, and was a lifelong Middletown resident. Teresa worked as a dental assistant for Dr. Steven Saible in Red Bank for over 13 years before her retirement.
She loved animals especially her companion bulldog, Lucy who passed away recently.
Surviving are her beloved husband of 54 years, Daniel Evernham, Jr.; two sons and daughters-in-law, Daniel T. and Jennifer Evernham, Travis and AnneMarie Evernham; daughter and son-in-law, Ashley and Joseph Szotak; 6 grandchildren, Adelynn, Bennett, Travis Jr., Brendan, Morgan and Isabella; sister and brother-in-law, Donna and Joseph Tetro; brother and sister-in-law,Gary and Anne Cruse.
Teresa was preceded in death by her parents, Terence and Marion Cruse.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 7, 2018, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, 115 Tindall Road, Middletown. Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, January 8, 2018 at 8:00 am at the funeral home. A Funeral Liturgy will be offered at 9:15 am at St. Catherine's Church, 110 Bray Ave., N. Middletown. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery.

We will miss our dear friend. Our friendship has lasted over 60 years, and we can sit and talk and laugh at all the crazy things we did together when we were both young married couples. So many good times, and laughs we will never forget. Our last minute trip to AC, or off to NY for a cup of coffee. Wonderful times we shared. Our love goes out to Danny, and the wonderful kids they raised. Terry will be missed .
