THOMAS F. GIFFORD
FORMERLY OF NEPTUNE
Thomas F. Gifford, formerly of Neptune, died Thursday, Nov. 25, 2010, in Georgia after a long illness. Thomas was a very active member of the Neptune Township Little League as a coach and bowled in numerous leagues throughout his years spent in New Jersey. Thomas was a Retail Merchandiser for Pepsi Cola Bottling Company, Ocean, New Jersey for 20 years before moving to Florida in 1986. In 2003, Thomas retired from McLane Southeast. Thomas was a very active member and PDDGER of the BPO Elks in the Southeast Central Florida District. Thomas and his wife split their time between their house in Florida and their cabin in Georgia.
Thomas is survived by his wife of 25 years, Maryanne Gifford; son, Richard Gifford of Florida; son and daughter in-law, Jeffrey and Elizabeth Gifford of Hilliard, Ohio and daughter, Marjorie Gifford of Neptune, New Jersey. Thomas is also survived by a step-daughter, Paula Veltre, step-son, Joey Veltre and step-son and spouse, Anthony & Danielle Veltre, all of Florida; and four grandchildren, Harley, Alixandria, Aiden & Sophia. Thomas is also survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Patricia and Steven Hughes and many nieces & nephews. Thomas was predeceased by his parents, Daniel and Leona Gifford and three sisters, Evelyn, Margaret and Betty.
Funeral services are being held in Mountain Shadows Chapel, Georgia.

My brother will always be remembered and close to my heart forever. I will miss him sadly. Thomas was always such a huge part of my life. The memories I have of us growing up and sharing moments through our adulthood will never be forgotten. Love sister Pat Hughes
