Thomas Lobdell Obituary
AGE: 85 • Brick
Thomas B. Lobdell, 85, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2012, at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. Born in Newark, he lived in Newark, Paterson and the last 12 years in Brick. Mr. Lobdell was a retired attorney who worked with Kearfott Singer of Little Falls. He was a graduate of Seton Hall and Rutgers Law School. He was a Navy veteran of WWII.
He was the husband of Lucie Scharfenberg Lobdell of Newark and father of Linda Mae Lobdell of Newark, brother of Myles Lobdell of Florida and the late Arthur Lobdell and Mary DeLorenzo.
Visitation is from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 4 at the O'Boyle Funeral Home, 309 Broad St., Bloomfield. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral at 9 a.m. Monday, Nov. 5 from the funeral home. The funeral mass will be offered at 10 a.m. at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Bloomfield. Interment is private. For those who wish in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Jude Children's Hospital. Please express condolences at www.oboylefuneralhome.com.

I fondly remember dealing with Tom as the Attorney for Singer-Kearfott when that company became a tenant of ours at Garret Mountain. He was always a gentleman and wise counsel for his client, and everyone at Mountain Development Corp. sends their since condolences upon his passing.
