Thomas Marsico Obituary
AGE: 93 • Long Branch
Thomas Peter Marsico, age 93 of Long Branch, died Monday, June 12, 2017 at home. Mr. Marsico was born in Long Branch and was a life resident. He was the owner of the Norwood Television Company in Long Branch and a parishioner of Holy Trinity Church of Christ the King Parish in Long Branch. He served our country honorably in the U.S. Army during WWII.
He was predeceased by his parents, Alfonso and Bessie Marsico and his brother, William Marsico. Surviving are his wife of 68 years, Rosalie Bongiovanni Marsico; a daughter and son in law, Rose and Charles Griffin of Oceanport; his brother, Salvatore Marsico of Fla; and his granddaughter, Michelle Griffin.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 from 5 - 7 pm at the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Ave. (corner of Third Ave.) in Long Branch. Funeral Thursday, 9 am from the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 10 am at Holy Trinity Church in Long Branch. Interment will follow at Woodbine Cemetery, Oceanport. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Vincent DePaul Society at Christ the King Parish, 380 Division St., Long Branch, NJ 07740. Letters of condolence may be sent through the web at www.damianofuneralhome.com.

Uncle Tommy, I feel very fortunate and blessed that my wife and I were able to spend a little time with you, Aunt Rosalie and Rose before our Lord called you home. As I grew older I was lucky to see you maybe once or twice a year but my childhood memories of you will last a lifetime and again I feel blessed to have been able to share some of those with you last week. From the backyard parties, Sunday Dinners, Sunday breakfasts after church, getting me the best possible price on my in dash 8 track players and later cassettes players for my car and helping Uncle Sal do some repairs to my first house in Long Branch you will always be in my heart and memories. Last week I asked you what life time advice you could give me and you said "You're doing all right" and I thank you for that. Until we meet again! You're nephew Duke ❤
