Thomas B. Rusnak Sr., died Friday, May 27, 2011, at Halifax Health Medical Center of Daytona Beach, Fla. He was 71. Born in Coaldale, Pa., he had lived in New Brunswick before moving to Port Orange nine years ago. He had worked as an assistant manager at Pameco Corporation on Highland Park for five years before retiring in 2002. Prior to that, he had owned and operated B&R Jewelers in North Brunswick. He was a former communicant of St. Mary of Mount Virgin R.C. Church in New Brunswick and was currently a communicant of Our Lady of Hope Church in Port Orange. He was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge #263 in New Brunswick, the American Legion Post #0270 of Port Orange and the Eagles Aerie #4089 of Port Orange. He had served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1959-1963. He is predeceased by his parents, Paul V. Sr. and Stephanie Rusnak; and a brother, Paul V. Rusnak Jr. Surviving are his wife, Helen Varga Rusnak; his son and daughter-in-law, Thomas B. Jr. and Audrey Rusnak of Lake Villa, Ill.; his mother-in-law, Elizabeth Varga of Port Orange; his sister-in-law, Diana Vitanza of New Brunswick; and a nephew, Carmen Parillo and his wife Theresa of Jamesburg.

Friends and relatives may call Friday evening, June 3 from 6 to 8 p.m. only at Selover Funeral Home, 555 Georges Road, North Brunswick. Funeral services will be 8:15 a.m. Saturday, June 4 from the funeral home, followed by a 9 a.m. Mass at St. Mary of Mt. Virgin Church in New Brunswick. Entombment will follow in Resurrection Burial Park, Piscataway.
