VINCENT L. TRIMARCHI
AGE: 71 MANCHESTER
Vincent L. Trimarchi, 71, of the Leisure Village West section of Manchester, died Tuesday, July 21, 2009, at home, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Jersey City, he lived there until moving to Manchester in 1978. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy having served on the USS Ticonderoga during the Korean Conflict. He formerly was a plan surveyor for Oross Associates in Red Bank. He was a communicant of St. John's Roman Catholic Church, Lakehurst. He was a life member and former Assistant Fire Chief of the Ridgeway Fire Company. While at the firehouse, Vincent also worked as an alcohol counselor, a training officer, as well as a chef. He also served as Booster Club president for Manchester High School and was an umpire with the Manchester Little League.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Caroline Comelleri Trimarchi; three sons, Vincent and his wife Kira Trimarchi, Ralph and his wife Tracy Trimarchi and Michael and his wife Laurie Trimarchi; a daughter, Angel Hueston; two brothers, Ralph and Joseph Trimarchi; three sisters, Isabella Violante, Vera Vitale and Roma Nunziato; and his grandchildren, Stephen, Nicole, Jake, Melissa, Christopher, Bella and Chris.
Visiting hours will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, July 23 at Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home, 3010 Ridgeway Road (Route 571), Manchester. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Friday, July 24 at St. John's R.C. Church, 619 Chestnut St., Lakehurst. Entombment will be at Ocean County Memorial Park, Toms River. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the American Heart Association.
