Vito Lupo Obituary
AGE: 89 • Landing
Vito J. Lupo, 89, of Landing, passed away Thursday, April 12, 2012, at the House of the Good Shepard, in Hackettstown. Born in Brooklyn NY, he and his late wife Rose (nee: Livoti) raised their family in Brooklyn, and later moved to NJ before finally residing in Landing with his son Bill and grandsons. He entered the army during WWII and served in the Air Corp in Bari, Italy. Vito was the owner of Leathercraft Upholstery in Mine Hill. He enjoyed being an amateur radio operator (call sign WS2P) and was a member of the Roxbury Senior Citizens Club.
Vito is survived by his son Charles and his wife Denise of Sea Girt, son Anthony and family, and son Bill of Landing. Beloved grandchildren, Nicole, Chuck, William, James and Robert.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the entombment of Vito's cremated remains on Tuesday April 17, 2012 at 1:00 PM at the Good Shepard Catholic Cemetery, Green Twp. All invited are to meet directly at the cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in his memory may be made to the House of Good Shepard, 798 Willow Grove Street, Hackettstown, NJ 07840.

Hi Dad...I hope you noticed all the people who attended your ceremony today. It was a beautiful warm day, and not a cloud in the sky. I'll bet you had no idea you were loved by so many people. You have always been an inspiration to me through out my whole life. I probably didn't tell you enough, but without your guidance I wouldn't be half the man I am today. You instilled the importance of familia values and you also taught me to be proud of our Italian heritage. (The Bari side anyway) I'll miss you very much!!! Please give Mom a big hug and kiss for me and send my regards to all our other friends & relatives with you. Your loving son always, Charles
