Mrs Gordon and family
I am sorry for your loss. In life people pass through your life your husband and father was one of those people. I am glad to have met him at MMC ICU if only for a short time. I will always remember his kindness to my son Eric and me. May his memories and love help you get through this difficult time. I know God has a special place in heaven for him.

Aunt Elfriede, Babel, Markus and Claudia, My heart breaks for you as you cope with the loss of your husband, father, best friend and my Uncle. After my Dad died, he became more than Uncle to me, he became my connection to my dad in the physical world. Nothing was more comforting to me to give him a big hug and kiss when I saw him. He was such a kind man and loved to laugh. Nothing was better than sitting around the dinner table listening to stories of him and the Gordon boys from their days growing up in Maine and his bursts of laughter which would end with him banging on the table causing the clanging of the dishes and silverware. That was the best sound!! I will forever cherish the memories and the time spent with him. I love u all very much.

I grew up with Walter and his large family in North Lincoln, Maine and visited him in Germany when he and I were stationed there. He was a very good man and it was an honor to know him. Condolences to his family and friends.
