Wayne Basilone Obituary
Raritan - Wayne A Basilone, 75, died on Monday, January 13, 2020 at his home in Raritan. He was born in Somerville, New Jersey on October 3, 1944 to his dear parents Angelo and Mary (Crisci) Basilone.
Wayne was a Line Manager at Ortho Diagnostics. He was a devoted father and cherished his grandchildren dearly. He enjoyed country dancing at the Colorado Café and his daily walks through the mall with his longtime friend. Wayne was a friend to all and will be dearly missed.
Wayne is survived by his loving children, Todd and wife Michelle, Wayne and his wife Kathleen, Wendi and husband Perry, and Michael and his wife Danielle; cherished grandchildren Ava, Angelina, Jeffrey and Bryant; a sister-in-law Joan Golias and brother-in-law Frank Kretch. He is predeceased by his parents, sister Janice Kretch and brother Richard.
Viewing will be held from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and 7:00pm to 9:00pm on Sunday, January 19, 2020 at Bongiovi Funeral Home 416 Bell Ave., Raritan, NJ (908) 725-1887. Funeral service Monday, January 20, 2020 beginning with a viewing 9:00am to 10:00am at the funeral home followed by a 10:30 am Funeral Mass at St. Ann Church 45 Anderson Street, Raritan, NJ. To the entire Basilone family, my deepest sympathy on the loss of a truly kind, gentle, and wonderful man. Wayne was a dear friend of mine, for whom I have known for nearly 50 years. We spent many times together eating out or eating together with other friends from Ortho, just talking about all our good times we all had together.
