Westley will always be remembered by myself and anyone with whom he came in contact with as wonderful caring and special person'
He had the rare ability to bring smiles with his talent of story telling and vast collection of jokes on any subject.
To his family, I can say that he made me a better person although I didn't know it at the time. My deepest sympathy It is a great loss.

Wesley Hurl was a favorite uncle. He was always fun to be around. Back in 1967 I asked him to drive me and my bridesmaids to the church for my wedding in his flashy red car. He did!!! He even ran his car through the car wash before coming to pick us all up! We made quite a splash when we arrived at the church. That’s a good uncle!!
We now live in South Carolina, but every time we get to New Jersey we’d drive to West Keansburg and visit with Uncle Wes and Aunt Marie. It was always a fun visit and we so much enjoyed the wild stories Uncle Wes told about family. I remember several visits with him to his favorite Pancake House for lunch. He loved pancakes and so did we.
I will miss Uncle Wesley and look forward to seeing him again in Heaven.

Uncle Wesley Calvin Joseph Patrick Hurl,
You will be greatly missed. Your humor, and glimmer in your eye when you were about to be mischievous will not be forgotten."May you be in heaven a full half an hour before the devil knows your dead." I will miss you.
