Wilfred "Roy" Ottmer, 91, of Howell Twp., NJ, passed away on Monday, February 8, 2016, at home. He was born in Lakewood Twp., NJ, and has resided in Howell Twp. for the past 65 years. Roy retired from the United States Post Office, Lakewood, NJ, where he was employed as a postman for 30 years. He was a United States Army Air Force Veteran.

Roy was predeceased by his Parents, Fred and Edith Ottmer; and by his Wife of 61 years, Doris "Marie" Ottmer in 2011. He is survived by his Daughters, Sharon Sloat and her Husband, Guy of Toms River, NJ, Nancy Kelly of Lakewood Twp., NJ, and Donna McConville and her Husband, Danny of Jackson Twp., NJ; his Brother, Robert Ottmer of Toms River, NJ; his 5 Grandchildren; and by his 8 Great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his visitation on Thursday, February 11, 2016, from 4-8 PM at the GEORGE S. HASSLER FUNERAL HOME, 980 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp., NJ 08527. A funeral gathering will be offered on Friday, February 12, 2016 at 10:00 AM followed by his Funeral Service at 10:30 AM at the funeral home. Entombment will follow in Monmouth Memorial Park, 4201 State Highway 33, Tinton Falls, NJ 07753.
