William J. Antini

AGE: 85 • Middletown

William J. Antini of Middletown passed away Saturday, May 26, 2012 at Gateway Care Center in Eatontown. He was 85. Born in Plainfield, he lived in Bridgewater before moving to Middletown. A World War II Navy Veteran serving on the USS Saint Paul, he was a bricklayer with Bricklayers Union #4 in Plainfield prior to his retirement. With William, his family was first. He enjoyed gardening, being around people and spending time in Ortley Beach.

Beloved husband for over 51 years of Susan (nee: Capezzera). Devoted father of William J., Jr. and his wife Suzanne and Renee Klein and her husband Chip. Loving grandfather of Christopher and Melissa Klein and Julia and Alexandra Antini. Also survived by nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Funeral Service on Thursday, May 31 at 10:00AM at the William J. Leber Funeral Home, 15 Furnace Road, Chester. William's Life Celebration will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday, May 30 from 2-4 & 6-8PM. Interment: Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Chester. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in his memory may be made to a charity of a person's choice. For further information and to offer online condolences please visit www.williamjleberfh.com.

Bill was a terrific friend & neighbor for over 40 years. He was the "go-to" guy if you ever needed a helping hand. His annual garden was a labor of love & the pride of Deer Run Drive.
