William Leach Obituary

William H. Leach, III

Sebastian, FL - Formerly of Point Pleasant Beach, William died after a short illness. He was 90. Mr. Leach was retired from Social Services of NJ. He previously owned a commercial laundry and dry cleaning business in Pt. Pleasant Beach. Graduated Rider College, Trenton, NJ. In Pt. Pleasant Beach he was a Mason of 65 years, member of Durand Lodge 179; PPB fire department; chairman and member of Board of Adjustments, Rotary; and Greenbriar Kiwanis. In Sebastian, FL he joined American Legion post 189. He proudly served in the U.S. Marines.

Mr. Leach was a member of Holy Trinity ELC Manasquan. Born in New Brunswick NJ, he lived in Pt. Pleasant Beach and Brick, NJ before moving full time to Sebastian, FL. He was predeceased by is wife Helen Plate Leach.

Surviving are his wife Mary Joyce Leach four sons; Dr. W. Craig (Kim); R. Curtis; Richard (Therese); Thomas (Evelyn) and four step children Mary Burke (Don); Don Ambrose; Katie Hingle (Dan); Liz Grinkin (Alex). He is survived by over 50 grandchildren, great grandchildren.

Memorial services were held at Holy Trinity ELC and Burial at Greenwood Cemetery Brielle, NJ. Charitable donations may be made to Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in memory of Bill Leach.
