Brad Taylor Obituary

Brad Taylor of Live Oak left this world on October 10, 2017. Brad was born on June 16, 1954 to Floyd and Ellen Taylor in Spokane, WA where he grew up and joined the Air National Guard and eventually transitioned into the United States Air Force.

During his tour in the Air Force he was stationed at Beale Air Force Base and made the Yuba-Sutter area his home.

Brad is survived by his wife of 34 years, Joanna; two sons Danny (Michelle) of Yuba City, CA and Mike (Jessica) of Spokane, WA; 7 grandchildren; brother Jeff Taylor; sisters Carol Huhta and Jackie Westfall; adopted son Jason Johnson; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, in-laws, and friends.

Brad worked as a mechanic for Cal-Prune for many years and eventually found his niche as a self-employed handyman. He could fix anything from electrical to plumbing and beyond.

Brad never knew a stranger and was a friend to everyone. He was always an encourager to friends, family, cashiers, waitresses...no one was exempt.

Brad served as a Deacon at Trinity Anglican Church since 2007.

Services will be held on October 20, 2017 at 11:00 am at Trinity Anglican Church located at 929 11th Street, Marysville with a reception to follow.

My husband and I hired Brad, and then later, Brad and Jeff to do some work at our home. The friend who recommended Brad said that he was honest, trustworthy and a good worker. We found that to be very true.

Brad spoke highly of his wife and children when we chatted during his workday. He never ended a phone call without saying,"God Bless You".

We returned home from a trip last night to find that Brad had passed way. To Brad's wife and family we say, "God Bless All of You".

Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Brad was such a wonderful support system to our family in the darkest of times. He gave us hope, inspiration and his wise advice. We will never forget him and appreciate all he did. It was so heartwarming to hear the love, respect and praise he had for you, Joanne. As he said many times to us, you are a good woman and he was lucky to have you. Wishing you the best, Satnaum & Ajit Purewal

He was such a wonderful man! Helped so many people in so many ways. I aspire to be the loyal Christian that he was. I really felt his absence Sunday and his Thank You Jesus shout-outs during Father Victor's sermon. Rest In Peace my friend and blessings to Joanna, Jeff and all those left here as they mourn your loss.
