Elena Savedra Obituary
Elena Savedra left this earth and went to be in the presence of the Lord on July 9, 2021. She was surrounded by family during her passing and left very peacefully. She was born June 2, 1937, in Los Fresnos, Texas, to Celedonio Rivas and Felipa Salinas, with siblings of four sisters and three brothers.
She lives on through her three children, Ernest Reyes, Patricia Savedra Griffiths and Sandra Savedra. She also leaves behind numerous grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren.
"Mom" was loved by so many people and became very close friends with many of her residents, clients and people she worked with. This does not include the many close friends of her children who she embraced and loved each and every one of them like her own.
She was very famous for her amazing tamales and sprinkled love in all of the wonderful food she made. She will be greatly missed by many.
A private graveside service will be held at Sierra View Mortuary and Memorial Park for family members.

Pat Ernie Sandra so sorry to hear of your moms passing. I jus heard yesterday and my heart just sunk. A beautiful lady your mom was. You were blessed to have her here with you for this long. God Be With You Helen as you enter eternal life. My memories of you are of my childhood years . You were a good mama and loving . RIP
