Ernest Bull Obituary
Ernest P. Bull, 90, of Yuba City, passed away at home on May 13, 2014.
He was born on September 23, 1923, in London, England. He served with the British Army in a Scottish Regiment and under General Wingate in Burma as a paratrooper and Chindit for 7 years during World War II. In 1962, he and his family emigrated to the United States and lived in Colorado before moving to Southern California and finally to Yuba City in 2006.
Ernest is survived by his wife of 63 years, Mavis (Nash) Bull; daughter, Linda Stefaniak; 4 grandchildren, Lisa (Adam), Sean, Chelsea, and Ashley; and 3 great grandchildren, Abigail, David, and Emily.
He was loved by all and will be greatly missed.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 30, at 11 a.m. at Sierra View Mortuary. Donations may be made in Ernest's name to Sutter North Hospice, 969 Plumas Street, Ste. 207, Yuba City, CA 95991.
Sierra View Mortuary is assisting the family with the arrangements.
