Gary Pierce Obituary
He is remembered as a kind, patient, and gentle man.
Gary devoted his life to his country and family. He enlisted in the United States Army from 1960 to 1962, and then re-enlisted at Ramstein Air Base in Germany, serving from 1962 to 1981, including a tour in Vietnam.
After 20 years of service, he retired at Beale Air Force Base, where he met his beloved wife, Dorothy Parish, and they married in December 1981.
He spent the next 44 years caring for his family while also working for 10 years at Sunsweet.
He was preceded in death by his father, Windsor Pierce; mother, Christabel Wade; stepmother, Norma Patterson; and two brothers, Elon and Carl Pierce.
Gary is survived by his wife, Dorothy Pierce; son, Windsor Pierce of Marysville, CA; stepchildren, Susan Parish of Olivehurst, CA, Sandra Anderson of Loma Rica, CA, Raymond Parish of Olivehurst, CA, and Harold Parish of Citrus Heights, CA; two sisters, Toni and Judy of Kansas City, MO; as well as many grandchildren, great- grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

I love you, dad miss you so much. Wish you were here. I wish I could´ve saved you that night. I would give anything in this world to see and talk to you even if it´s just for three minutes. I´ll always miss you and love you dad there´s not a day that goes by that I don´t miss you. I always think about you and hoping you´re OK in heaven looking down on me and Mom you are my friend my mentor but most of all I´m proud to call you my father and you are my hero, I´ll always think about your dad. I´ll always love you and miss you. Love your son Windsor Pierce.

Gary was my step grandpa, but he was more like a real grandpa. I can´t say enough about him the man he is and was to my grandma he devoted his whole life to taking care of and loving my grandma, he also took care of of my aunt she loved him so much! She surely misses him asking for her daddy all the time. We love and will miss!! Love Randy and Briana Anderson!
