Kathy, My sincere thoughts of sympathy, support, and condolences.
Gary Troike: In a word : the "finest". A person who had an incredible connection with the outdoors, the land and the issues brought about by our changing society. I had the good fortune of knowing Gary for onto ´40 +/-years´. Although, only in the past 20 or so years had I come to know him better. He would call me or I call him, and would typically spend an hour in discussion of issues.
Gary was Owner of DeBug Pest Control, and I was a pesticide regulator from the county. That function was not always something enjoyed by owners of pest control companies. Typical of this man, Gary was always good at communicating any issues he had, and although may not agree 100%, Gary was always professional and civil. Years after I left the county in which Gary had his business, I had the need to have a termite treatment. DeBug Pest Control came to mind of course . Gary was a pro´s Pro at that work.
Gary was very committed to game management issues, and had years of experience. In todays world that is rare indeed. The last time I spoke with Gary was in Nov/Dec 2022. So it is with a heavy heart that I failed to give him a call prior to his passing.
His spirit remains in my life.

We've known Gary & Kathy for only 4 years but living next to them and seeing them every day, spending Holidays and many dinners together, and helping each other on nearly a daily basis, brought us together as family and we feel like we've know each other a lifetime. Gary is forever in our hearts and thought of every day.

Such a dear and long time Friend,we helped each other out a lot and it's sad that he's gone.I'll sure miss him tooting the horn at me when he passes.My heart goes out to Cathy his wife He's up there Deer hunting in the Clouds.R I P my friend. Wild Bill.

Dear Kathy, Gary was a super guy. We had so much fun with the murder mystery dinners. Gary was a Ham. Ha. Jerry enjoyed all the times talking hunting and meeting you guys in Wyoming . Call if you need us

Kathy, my condolence to you. You know that Gary and i went way back to when he was 14. You couldn't ask for a better friend than Gary. I lost Susie September the 15th of this year. We both know where they both are, in the presence of Jesus Christ.

You and Gary did our are bug control for years. I will never forget that when our son was in a bad car accident, Gary and you would always ask about him and would pray with me before you left every month. You were more than bug control people you were friends. I will never forget Gary for being a man of God. His love for you Kathy, dogs, hunting and fishing.
Kathy my heart breaks for you but we have comfort in knowing he is resting in the arms of Jesus pain free. May God wrap his loving arms around you for comfort while holding all the wonderful memories you made together close to your heart.

I have so many fond childhood memories of this wonderful man. As cousins we enjoyed many adventures. I'm sad that I didn't get to see him before he left this earth. My deepest sympathies & prayers.
