Hermelinda Vargas Obituary
Hermelinda R. Vargas, born August 21, 1932, and passed away peacefully with her family at her side on January 28, 2014.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Ismael Vargas; 11 children: Guadalupe, Rafaela, Ismael Jr., Teresa, Adelina, Francisco, Rosa, Carmen, Delfina, Jorge & Elda; 19 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother, 1 sister, and 3 brothers.
She was born in Lagunillas, Michoacan, Mexico and lived in the Rio Oso / Nicolaus area for the last 40 years.
She was a strong, brave and loving mother who always put her children's needs before hers. She enjoyed spending time with her family and her trips to Hawaii and the coasts of Mexico. She will be missed greatly!
Rosary will be held on Monday, January 3, at 7:00 pm at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Marysville, CA. Mass will be Tuesday, January 4 at 11:00 am. Following Mass, Hermelinda will be laid to rest at Nicolaus Cemetery in Nicolaus, CA.
May God bless her and keep her in eternal peace.
Funeral Services are under the direction of Lipp and Sullivan Funeral Directors.
