Ilona Sherylene Miller

1954 - 2022

Ilona Sherylene Miller "Sherie" 68, passed away June 21, 2022, the first day of summer. She was born in Bremerton, WA. on February 27, 1954 but lived most of her life in Marysville, CA. She was the seventh of 10 children of Helen and Earl Miller of Linda.

Sherie was a 1972 graduate of Marysville High School. She was a 2002 graduate of Yuba College with an Associates degree of Arts. She worked at various jobs her whole life. She was a free spirit that never knew an enemy. She loved rainy days and drinking coffee. She had an overwhelming love for animals and always had a dog by her side. She rescued many kittens and cats along her way too. She was a very good poet and wrote many beautiful poems. Always a dreamer.

Sherie was a member of the family singing group, Earl Miller and the Millerines, performing throughout California. The family entertained on local television shows, the Jerry Lewis Telethon, and at the Hollywood Bowl representing the area at a national gathering for the YMCA.

Sherie is survived by her siblings, Kathlene Miller of Linda, Lauraleen "Laurie" Little (Howard) of Sutter, Earl "Skip" Miller (Ardeth Hurst) of Yuba City, Glenn Miller of Linda, Gaylene Long (Mark) of Yuba City, and Gary Miller (Michael Smith) of Sun Valley, NV. She is survived by many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.

She was proceeded in death by her parents, Earl and Helen Miller of Linda, her sisters Erlene Barnette (Jerry) of Olivehurst, Darlene Miller of Yuba City and Colleen Shepherd (Tom) of Roseville.

A small, private service at Sierra View Cemetery will be held in the future along with her brother, Skip, who passed away the following week.
