Judith Lunn (Holkan) Obituary
Judith Lunn (Holkan), 89, passed away on January 20, 2023, in Yuba City, California. Judy was born in Ft. Dodge, Iowa, in 1933, to Emil and Pauline Pieper. She graduated from Sacred Heart in 1951.
In 1954, she married Rollie Holkan, and together they had six children. They were stationed in Nebraska, Germany, Michigan and California during Rollie's Air Force career before they settled in Marysville. After Rollie's death, Judy married John Lunn, a childhood friend from Ft. Dodge.
Judy was involved with the Catholic Church and sang in St. Joseph's choir for many years. She also enjoyed golfing, traveling and spending time with her family. Her beautiful smile, kindness and laughter will be greatly missed.
Judy was preceded in death by her husbands, Rollie and Jack; son, David; parents, Emil and Pauline; sisters Paula, Joan and Jean; and brothers, Joseph, John, Daniel and Thomas.
Judy is survived by her children, Anthony (Sandy), Piper (James), Julie (Teresa), Stephen (Deborah), and Lisa (Anthony); (Kis) and her 9 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren, and brother, Timothy.
A celebration of life Mass will be held Wednesday, February 8, 2023, 11am at St. Joseph Catholic Church. A private burial will follow.
