Mark Onstott Obituary
Mark was born on April 11, 1973, in Yuba City, CA, to Cynthia Wider and Charles Onstott. He attended Yuba City High School and Yuba Community College where he studied film production.
He worked for years as a talented waiter at numerous establishments such as The Dancing Tomato, Linda's Soda Bar and Champs Americana. For more excitement in his life, he moved to Las Vegas, NV, in July 2016, and started working at the House of Blues restaurant at the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino. Later Mark switched gears to work for companies like Top Golf, Pro Caps, and Pride Mobility.
Mark will be remembered for his incredible sense of humor, comedic voices, and as a talented writer of poetry. Arts and acting were a lifelong passion and he always desired to work in the film industry. He loved concerts, mob memorabilia and was a huge San Francisco 49ers fan.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Cynthia Wider and father, Charles Onstott.
He is survived by his brother, Jake Onstott; sister, Lisa Onstott of Vancouver, WA; his nephew, Levi Onstott; niece, Lizi Onstott; stepmother, Jenet Onstott of Las Vegas, NV. Mark was incredibly blessed to have the love of dozens close friends that he truly considered family, among such were Kevin Durbin, Dave Rosenberg, and Rob Thill, as well as countless others. Mark's smile, Onstott blue eyes and passion for life had an impact on so many. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
A Celebration of Mark's life will be held on Saturday, February 24, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Marcello's Italian restaurant, 1235 Bridge St., Yuba City, CA.

I am very sorry for your loss family and friends of Mark. He was my Best Friend of 19 years. We met in film class at Yuba College. Funny thing was I was already connected to the family as I took care of his grandma "Fifi" when she was in the retirement home. We were there for each other during our mom´s passing. We had music in common. There isn´t a day that goes by that I won´t miss him or his incredible belly laugh, the absolute best laugh.

I worked with Mark for 8 years at Linda´s Soda Bar, as a matter of fact him and I started the same day. I loved working with him cuz you never knew what he was going to do or say lol!!!! I missed working with him when he moved and I will always miss him and his craziness!!!

I was very sad to read about Mark´s passing. I knew his parents and remember him as a young boy. He sure was a cute little guy. Haven´t seen him in years. Thoughts and prayers to family and friends.
