It´s been over two years and I finally found a bit of courage to read your obituary Dilbert. I freaking miss you so much it hurts buddy. Things are sure different without you next to me bro. I have hundreds and hundreds of videos and pictures of us and I´m so thankful for those. I know God has a bigger plan for you than what´s here on earth. Just know one day we will be together again buddy. I´ve always defended you and protected you and wish I could of that day. Just don´t forget there is an "S" in fishing and it´s not spelt fihing :). Aunt beautiful misses you so much and so do your cousins. Love you Dilbert.

I just this today. I knew Matthew when he was in Dianes class at Yuba College and I was the principal of the program. Matt was always happy and smiling and loved telling me his fishing stories. It was a joy to see him at school because he was a bright light. My condolences for your loss. May you always have wonderful memories.

God needed someone very special on Easter Sunday Mathew and he chose you! Someday we will meet again and on that day we will understand. There will be no more tears and no more pain. Until that day you will be watching over your momma and your brother and sisters! Love you sweetheart! You are surely missed here!

It was my privilege to be Matt's teacher at Yuba College for 3 years. He was such a sweetheart! I enjoyed talking football and his beloved Steelers with him. Such a tragic loss for the whole Stothers family. My heart goes out to you all.

Matthew is truly a beautiful soul. Anyone who knew him couldn't help but love him. Always so happy and making jokes. Always asking if we'd gone fishing and what we caught. Can't even fathom that you're really gone. You will be sorely missed my friend. Save some fish up there in heaven for the rest of us

Oh Matt, my silly and handsome cousin, why did you have to go? I will treasure the memories that I have forever. One of my best memories with you is when I would go visit and you would say "Krissy say it" and I would already know what you were talking about because it was our thing that made us giggle since we were kids ... "J-E-L-L-O" ... I remember he called me out of the blue one day and said "Krissy, J-E-L-L-O" and laughed and then hung up on me lol The story behind that is as kids we saw a commerical came on for jello and it stuck, and became our thing gosh I'm going to miss that and your giggles everyday I will love and miss you forever Matt I know God has you in heaven but I will always have you in my heart
