Richard Dihel Obituary

Richard Lee Dihel was born in Lincoln, Nebraska on September 22, 1938. Richard was the youngest of seven children born to Homer and Helen Dihel. The family moved to the Yuba-Sutter area when Richard was a young boy.

Richard met Annabelle Opal Raley, the love of his life and they were married in 1961. They were married sixty-one great years before her passing in 2022.

Richard and long-time friend, Douglas Long worked at Buck Beeler Ford Tractor for many years before purchasing the company from the Beeler family in 1990.

Richard is survived by three sons, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren and many friends of the family.

The Dihel family would like to thank the community for their contribution to the life he enjoyed here in the Yuba-Sutter area.

The memorial viewing will be held on October 14, 2025, from 4pm to 7pm at Ullrey's Memorial Chapel and graveside services will be held October 15, 2025, at 11 am at Sutter Cemetery; officiated by Pastor Bill Gibson. All friends and family are welcome to attend.

In lieu of flowers, consider making a donation to the Yuba Sutter Farm Bureau Fund for Ag Education (475 Palora Ave., Ste. A Yuba City, CA 95991) to honor Richard and Annabelle's memory.

I remember Richard and Annabelle from the Southridge golf course where I worked. They were original members and the nicest people I met there. They always had a nice word to say to me.
