Richard Jeffs Obituary
Richard Douglas Jeffs passed away at the age of 90, peacefully at his home on November 15, 2023.
Doug was born in Toronto, Canada. He came to the United States in 1951. He joined the Army and after the Army, he went to work at Zumwalt's for 20+ years. He then joined the Colusa Fire Department where he retired in the position of Captain. He continued to visit the Fire Department, mentoring the young men and women.
Doug is survived by his wife, Charlotte; his daughter, Andrea; and his granddaughter, Holly.
A celebration of life will be held at the Colusa Fire Department on December 1, 2023, starting at 2 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to be made to the Colusa Firefighters Association.
