Robert Anderson Obituary

Robert "Bob" Anderson passed away on October 23rd, 2010 in Marysville, CA at the age of 81 after a long battle with Leukemia. Bob was born November 6th, 1928 in Tacoma, WA to Vera and Henry Anderson. He graduated from San Francisco State and served in the Army. He started his career in sales and eventually owned his own business, Anderson Huxley Associates, which was based in San Leandro for 26 years. He is survived by his daughter and son-in- law, Amy & John Rehermann and their children, Alex and Joe Rehermann of Marysville, CA, and grandchildren, Emily & Tyler Martin of McKinleyville, CA. He was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Ann Anderson, and his daughter Linda Martin. Bob was known for his optimism, eternal smile and upbeat personality. He enjoyed golf, tennis, R.V.ing, waterskiing and recently took his first skydive. He traveled the world and took life on as an adventure. One of Bob's biggest pleasures in life was ice cream. So, on what would have been his birthday, his family is hosting an open house ice cream social on Saturday, November 6. It will be held at their longtime Orinda neighbor Pete Wilson's home, 35 Lost Valley Drive from 3:00 to 5:00p.m. Family, friends and neighbors are cordially invited to join in this celebration of his life.
