Robert Kurz Obituary

Robert Paul Kurz passed away on November 29, 2024, at the age of 89, in Shelton, WA.

Born on October 1, 1935, Robert was known for his hard-working ethos, loyalty, integrity, loving nature, generosity, and a great sense of humor.

Robert proudly served in the U.S. Air Force from 1953 to 1973, dedicating 20 years to his country. During his tenure, he held the position of Tech Sergeant and was a tail gunner on a B52, showcasing his bravery and commitment during the Vietnam War.

Following his military service, he continued to embody the spirit of service in his personal life, often entertaining family and friends, bringing joy and laughter to all gatherings.

He is survived by his wife, Michelle Kurz; son, Doug Kurz; daughters, Dawn McGee and Christine Donovan.His legacy includes 11 grandkids and 17 great grandkids. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Caroline Kurz; sons, Keith, Robert Jr., and Lawrence Kurz.

He was a 28 year resident of Yuba City, CA, and has lived in the Shelton, WA, area for the last 22 years.

Services for Robert are currently pending. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Legion in honor of Robert's dedication and service.

Robert's legacy of love, courage, and humor will be cherished and remembered by all who knew him.
