Robert Pickerill Obituary
January 19, 1935 - May 10, 2015
Robert Odis Pickerill, age 80, of Gridley, CA, passed away Mother's Day peacefully in his sleep. Robert was preceded in death by his wife Barbara Pickerill. Robert was survived by his seven children; Dotty Jo Gamba, Sheree Fox, Dianna de Alba, Melisa Pickerill, Denise Cabrera, Steven Menefee and Michael Menefee. Robert had 18 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Robert was born in Oklahoma on January 19, 1935 and was raised in Oregon by his mother Hylian Pickerill, he then enlisted into the United States Army serving his country and received his degree in Diesel Mechanic Engineering. He was a truck driver for over 50 years. Robert was a loving and caring father and a proud strong man, a true Cowboy at heart.
A memorial service will be held on May 18, 2015. Viewing will be held at Holy Cross from 9-11am in Yuba City, and will proceed to Gridley Biggs Cemetery at 12 noon for the grave site service.
Service: Monday, May 18, 2015, 9-11am at Holycross, 486 Bridge Street, Yuba City.
