Robin Ingles Obituary
He was born in Placerville, CA on November 9, 1950 to Vernon Lee Ingles and Donna Burkhart. He lived in the Yuba-Sutter area for 35 years.
Robin served in the US Air Force, serving during the Vietnam War and later at Beale AFB guarding the SR-71. After that he worked in the explosives industry for 35 years. He worked for his father, Lee as a driller for 20 years. He went on to work for Alpha Explosives for another 15 years.
Robin will be remembered as a family man, a hard worker, and one of the kindest and honest men there is. He loved camping, fishing, hunting, and collecting rocks from just about everywhere he went.
He is survived by his wife, Susan Y. Ingles; son, Adam Lee Ingles; daughter, Shannon D. Williams; and granddaughter, Paige A. Ingles. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and cousin.
A memorial service will be held at Cooper Avenue Baptist Church, located at 804 Cooper Avenue, Yuba City, CA 95991 on June 16, 2012 at 10am.

I am Robin's cousin and grew up with him in Pollock Pines. I lived down the street. I hung out mostly with Paul and my brother Dave and Robin (who were about the same age) roamed around the woods together catching lizards and making forts and such. Me and Paul (especially Paul) were pretty crazy growing up but I remember Robin was always real steady and someone you could count on. He hardly ever got in trouble. I saw Robin off and on over the years The last time was at my Mom's funeral 10 or so years ago. It was great to see him and visit. He was a genuine really good guy with a great positive attitude. I am sorry we did not see each other that much in the later years and I did not really get to know his wife and kids but I extend my heart felt condolences.

Dear Ingles Family,
I met Robin about 20 years ago and worked with him until I retired in 2007. It's an understatement to say that Robin knew his job and was an honest person to deal with. He was a tremendous help to me and I valued our relationship. The world has lost a good man. May our Lord comfort and bless you as you deal with your loss.

Robin was so special. He was a friend to all and never spoke bad about anyone. He was a peacemaker. His family meant everything to him and he constantly showed that.Your brother Paul will always miss you was his best bud. I know you are in Heaven with his beloved Dad and Mom.

Robin was definitely one of the best men there was. I will always cherish growing up with the Ingles; going to Robin's job sites and watching blastings, camping trips, perusing his ever-growing rock collection, going to soccer game after soccer game, and spending many a nights at the Ingles.
