Roy Harman Obituary
May 16, 1949 - November 20, 2022
Bud Harman, son of the late Joan Buchan and Roy I. Harman, passed away peacefully with his wife by his side on November 20, 2022.
Bud was raised in Yuba City, CA, and married his true love Priss, formally Priss Myers of Arbuckle, CA, on May 11, 1979. They lived many years in Colusa County and most recently in Butte County. Bud and Priss were truly partners and best friends in life, love, travel,farming, cattle and sheep ranching.
Bud started farming with his father in 1971, after graduating from UC Berkeley and continued farming for the rest of his life. Bud loved to fly and spent 26 years crop dusting.
He enjoyed many pastimes including flying, rugby, professional track and field, Giants baseball, 49ERs football, reading, listening to music, dancing to the Rolling Stones, traveling anywhere that called to him, and talking with friends and strangers alike.
Bud's infectious sense of humor and dry wit, as well as his spontaneous willingness to help anyone, at any time, with anything, earned him countless lifelong friendships. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends and his spirit and memory will live on in our thoughts and hearts forever.
