Ruby Trimble Obituary
A Graveside Memorial will be held Monday, April 18, 2016, 2:00 PM at the Gridley Biggs Cemetery in the gazebo for Ruby L. Trimble, 88, of Oroville, CA. She passed away April 11, 2016 in Oroville, CA.
Ruby was born January 4, 1928 in Yellville, AK to Ernie and Claira Jones. At a young age the family moved to Washington State. Ruby married Cliff Lewis in 1944, then moved to California in 1948, making Gridley-Biggs area her home. She was a Surgery Nurse at Oroville Hospital for thirty-one years. She was also member of the Nazarene Church. In 1988, she married Hoy Trimble.
She is preceded in death by her 2 husbands, 3 brothers, and one sister. Ruby is survived by 2 sons, Don Lewis of Biggs, Russ Lewis of Oroville, 3 step sons and 2 step daughters, 5 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, and 1 sister, Sue Franklin of Pyullop, WA.
Officiating the service will be Pastor Nate Gossett from the Nazarene church. Arrangements are entrusted to Gridley-Block Funeral Chapel

I miss my Grandma so much. I miss talking to her. I miss our laughs we had together. Ever since I can remember. She was there for me. I loved staying the night at Grandma and Grandpa's house. Even when she let me stay with her when I was older. I never thought she would leave me. She was such a strong woman. She is in heaven now with God. I know she's proud of me and she got to see me change my life around before she went to heaven. You are in my heart forever Mamo

She was the mom I never had. The most loving an compassionate person ,she was a giver an always there for any one she gave out of the abundance of her heart. We all will truly miss her. But thank GOD he has given us the promise that we will see each other again in GOD's Kingdom.
