To the entire Ward Family,
Rick and I offer our deepest condolences in the loss of Tony. He was 1 of a kind with a smile that was infectious. He lit up any space he was in and made everyone feel the warmth of his kind spirit. He had a beautiful family and all 3 of his children are so very talented, strong, and successful due in part by his love and commitment to them throughout their lives. We will keep all of you in our prayers in the next weeks, months, and years to come as it is never easy as there are always reminders, birthdays, anniversaries, Father's Day....etc., that flood us with emotions of the loss of such a significant person in our lives. We pray for all of you to find peace and strength and to know that Tony is at peace and will always be close to all of you in your hearts and spirit forever. Vickie and Rick LaBonte' : ) Of note: Our oldest son Shannon and Tony shared the same birthday - 12/5 but our son was 8 years older than Tony but had so many of the same attributes, personality, humor, love for his family, infectious smile, the works...Rick and I lost Shannon in 2008 also in a tragic accident 8 days after his 38th birthday leaving behind a spouse and 3 children. On 12/5/2016 he will be 46. It still hurts but the memorable moments after all these years are starting to outweigh the painful ones. Hang in there and know that God is with you all.

Tony had a kind heart, a gentle soul, a BIG smile, and he was a good, and proud milkman! I shared a lot of laughs (and complaints) with him, and his brothers on the loading dock at Crystal over the years! Tony...you will be missed!

My heart felt condolences to the family of Tony Ward. Tony greeted me with a smile every Thursday morning as he delivered milk to Sutter High School. After the business sold I would occasionally run into him still greeting me with that big smile. He always had the funniest stories to tell me. He was a proud father and son and believe me he made it known just how much he loved his children and his mother. Tony you will be missed by many.

My deepest sympathy for the Ward family. I met Tony when I went to work for the Wheatland School District Bear River Kitchen in 1996. He soon became more than just our "Milk Man" he became a friend. We shared a lot of life's ups and downs through out the years. I haven't seen Tony since I retired and the Wards sold their milk route but I thought of him often. I can tell all of you that Tony will forever be apart of my memories of WSD Food Service and the many, many times he saved my bacon by ordering my milk when I forgot to do so. He will be missed by many.
