LINDA JOYCE DAY HUSKEY Memorial services for Linda Joyce Day Huskey, 80, will be held Wednesday, December 13, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. in the Centennial Chapel of Harvey-Douglas Funeral Home with Father K. Ratterman officiating. The daughter of late Fred Boyd, Sr. and Clara Hooper Boyd, Linda was born July 22, 1943 in Waurika , Oklahoma and went to be with her Lord and Savior on December 8, 2023 at her residence surrounded by her loving family and fur babies. Linda grew up in Hastings and attended school there. She later lived in many places, but locally, Waurika, Duncan, Ardmore and settled in Lone Grove. She loved to travel and was able to see the world when she was younger and later traveled the US. She enjoyed quilting, painting, crafting, gardening, fishing, playing board and card games, and going to flea markets and estate sales. She had a love for her family and her fur babies most of all. She and Jimmie Finn Huskey were married on May 28, 2013. Leaving to cherish her memory are her husband Jimmie; son Jerry Day and wife Gail; daughters, Sheryl Binetti and husband Rob; Step-Daughter Michelle Wallace and husband Steve; and beloved fur babies Sophie Huskey, and Peaches Huskey. She is also survived by her sister in law, Claudia Edwards and husband Grant and her sister-like cousin Kerry Hooper and best friend (Janet Black) grandchildren, Chase; Shawn and wife Tracey; Samantha and husband Scott; Ransome; Mia; Julian and Christian; great grandchildren, Rory; Andrue, Mikayla, Saryssa, Haylie and Allisyn; special nephew, Randy Boyd and wife Denise; special nieces Julie Knight and Karen Vaughn and husband Gary as well as many beloved cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers and sister-in-laws; Jay and Mildred Boyd and Fred and Pat Boyd, Jr.; granddaughter Stephanie Barbara Tacina and nephews Ricky and David Boyd.
