" For mem'ry paints in colors that never fade."
For the class of '57, dwindled down to single digits, these words express my feelings. And now we add Tony to those numbers. He was a gentle soul. Liked by all as I recall. His classmates, long gone now, would love to have read Tony's story, as I did. Blessings to you, Jeannie.

Jeannie, family and friends. My sincere condolences at the passing of Tony. Through our school years at Tipton he was a good friend. As classmates and through the years' reunions, we kept up (somewhat) of Tony and Jeannie's life. And now, what a delight to read such a meaningful memorial. Thank you, Susan. What an awesome life. I am happy to have been a friend. Blessings to you, Jeannie, as you make the adjustment of life without Tony. And prayers for peace.

I was an orthodontic student of Dr. Stretesky´s. I always looked forward to the " Stretesky days" at the school. He might have you place an appliance he had invented himself or have you do something with the braces no one else had ever had you do or ever taught you in a classroom. And it always worked! Most of us treated our most difficult cases with him, and his results when the braces came off were some of the most impressive. I have always strived to produce results the quality of Dr. Stretesky´s. I am so thankful he was a part of my orthodontic education. For those of you that had your teeth straightened by him, just know that you had an absolutely stud orthodontist do your treatment. Thank you Lord for Tony Stretesky´s 86 years on this Earth.

To Jeannie and the family.
So sorry to hear of Tony's passing. He was a great orthodontist and friend. I met him as a youn orthodontist over forty years ago. He was unassuming and just a good guy who was easy to work with in the orthodontic clinic at the University of Oklahoma. As I became better acquainted with him, I realized how bright he was and how much he know about orthodontics. Tony was an "outside the box" thinkier and I Know that his backround in engineering and physics made him a deep thinker when it came to our profession. He loved the University of Oklahoma and was so proud to be a clinical professor in the orthodontic department. I am sorry I cannot be there on Wednesday. Tony was loved by all and was a true gentleman. He will be greatly missed. Peter Kierl

Dr. Stretesky taught me at OU Orthodontics. He was such a kind man and a brilliant mind. I am forever grateful that he chose to share both of those with me in helping me become an orthodontist. I smile when I think of him.

He spent his life giving others their smiles, yet it was his own — warm, kind, and full of love — that we will miss most.

Dr Stretesky was a kind colleague and such an incredible clinician. He made my smile and my daughters and so many of our mutual patients as well. He was so respected in our community and the dental community as well. He will be missed.
