Don was born on February 18, 1956 to Franklin Virdell Scruggs and Anita Irene Henderson Scruggs in Madill, Oklahoma. He was the youngest of their 5 children. I worked with Don and Bill more than 30 years ago at the Daily Ardmoreite. Don was a great guy. He was always cutting up. I remember when he first got that chevy luv 4 wheel drive pickup. I was in my early 20's when I know Don and Bill. Rest in peace, Don.
