Darin Jensen Obituary
Soiux Falls - Darin L. Jensen, 45, of Sioux Falls, formerly of Belgrade, MN, died unexpectedly Friday, March 12, 2021, at his home. A public visitation will be from 4-7 pm. Friday, March 19, 2021 at Johnson Funeral Home in Belgrade. Private funeral services will be Saturday at Grace Lutheran Church in Belgrade. Burial will be in Grace West Cemetery in Belgrade. www.hafh.org
Darin Lee Jensen was born on August 12, 1975, in Sauk Centre, MN, the son of Ernie and Sue (Amundson) Jensen. He was baptized and confirmed at Grace Lutheran Church in Belgrade. He grew up in Belgrade and attended BBE High School, graduating in 1993. He continued his education at NDSU and MSU Moorhead. He began a career with Menards, 28 years ago, that brought him to Sioux Falls in 2016 as assistant general manager.
Darin enjoyed online gaming, playing cards, bowling, visiting with people and sports, especially the NDSU Bison, Vikings and Twins. He'll be remembered for his quick wit and one liners, willingness to help anyone and high energy that kept him constantly busy. He loved to spoil his niece and nephews and going to family gatherings in Park Rapids/Menahga.
Darin is survived by his parents, Ernie and Sue Jensen of Belgrade; sister, Tanya (Dean) Ernst of Barnesville and their children, Caden, Sawyer and Aubree; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, several aunts and uncles.
