Darwin Sievert

Garretson - Darwin Dale Sievert, age 73, of Garretson, passed away on Friday, July 27, 2018, at Dougherty Hospice House in Sioux Falls. Funeral services will begin at 10:30 AM Wednesday, August 1, 2018, at Zion Lutheran Church, Garretson. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-7:00 PM Tuesday, at the Minnehaha Funeral Home, Garretson.

Survivors include his wife, Judy of Garretson; children: Chad (Amy) Sievert, Colorado Springs, CO, Kari Sievert, Colorado Springs, CO, Lindsay (Brett) Suiter, Greybull, WY, Darcy (Ryan) Mennenga, Harrisburg, SD; nine grandchildren; sister, Marlene (Mick) McKee; brothers: Arlyn (Linda) Sievert, Grand Rapids, MI, and Darrell (Shiela) Sievert, Lincoln, NE; brothers-in-law, Daniel Padgett, Niles, OH, and Kemp Ellingson, Rapid City; special friend, Mark "Sparky" Seeman; and numerous in-laws, nieces, and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parent, Elmer and Arlene; and sisters: Deb Ellingson and Barb Padgett.
