Edward Pasek Obituary
Edward A. "Doc" Pasek, age 93 of North Oaks, formerly of Sioux Falls, SD, passed peacefully in his sleep on May 7, 2017. Survived by his wife of 67 years, Marjorie "Marge"; children, Liz (Kevin) Gregory, Steve (Mary), Greg (Shirley), Sue (Gary) Basche, Chris Kaarre, Mike (Paula), Barb (Frank) Tappan, Pat (Jill) and Kevin (Shirley); 20 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Doc was an Army and Air Force Veteran, serving during WWII and Korea. He was born in Cloquet, MN. Graduated from the U of MN, both undergraduate as well as Medical School. Established an ophthalmology practice in Sioux Falls. Active members of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Sioux Falls. One of his greatest joys in life was spending time at the cabin with the family fishing and hunting. Private family services have been held. Interment at Black Hills National Cemetery, Sturgis SD. Memorials preferred to West Battle Lake Lakeshore Association, earmarked for Walleye Stocking. These can be sent to: Chris Kaarre, 1300 Northwest Parkway, Unit 402, New Brighton, MN 55112.
His life was a reflection of his faith in God and his devotion to his family.
