So sorry to hear. I did not know Ken well, but always enjoyed the opportunity to interact with him whenever I passed through Sioux Falls and stopped for dinner. I always considered him witty and entertaining with a wealth of knowledge. I was always curious as to the rest of his story. In any event, despite knowing him only from interaction at the restaurant he was easy to identify as a special person. To all of his family and friends, I am so sorry for your loss.

He came out to Seattle to visit me and stayed in a downtown hotel . We toured the city and it was special to me because I finally got to show a friend around , glad he took the time to make us feel special

Ken was my housemate at Idaho State University back in 1997. He was insanely talented, uniquely funny, painfully infuriating at times, but always a loyal friend. It pains me that this world is without his presence.

I knew Ken to be a kind cynic with impeccable taste. We once spent a day in Omaha wandering around the Joslyn and Old Market. We ate escargot at M's before it burned down. Ken possessed one of those rare souls that you can feel after talking with him for just a few minutes. He was like softened leather. I miss him.

Amazing high school and college memories with Ken. Awesome listener and incredibly talented. Sure you brought light to everyone's life you touched. Rest well, brother.
