Rodney Kooima Obituary
Inwood, Iowa - Rodney L. Kooima, 73, of Inwood, Iowa, died Saturday, January 16, 2021, at Sanford USD Medical Center in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 21, at 10:00 AM at Inwood First Reformed Church with Rev. Rob Horstman officiating. Burial will follow at Richland Cemetery of Inwood. Public visitation, with no family present, will be held Wednesday, January 20, from 3:00-7:00 PM at Inwood First Reformed Church. Social distancing protocols will be followed and masks are highly recommended. Memorials may be given to Inwood First Reformed Church and condolences may be left for the family at www.porterfuneralhomes.com.
Rod is survived by his daughter, Lisa (Mark) Wheeler of Inwood; 4 grandchildren, Dustin, Alyssa, Katelyn, and Erika Van Beek; great-granddaughter, Addison; and 2 sisters, Anna Halma of Inwood and Marilyn (Lorn) Rus of Rock Valley.
